These chips couldn’t be easier to make and they’re cute and healthy to boot! Win, win! I found the idea on Pinterest (originally from Zakka Life).
You simply take spinach tortillas or any green flavored wraps (mine were Spinach with Garlic & Pesto) and using a cookie cutter, cut the wrap into shamrocks.
Then you spray them with cooking spray and bake. Easy as can be.
You can head on over to Jessica’s blog for exact baking instructions. I ended up omitting the salt and I flipped mine and left them in for a little longer than suggested because I wanted them on the crispier side. Just make sure you watch them!
I’ve made chips from tortiallas before, sprinkling them with a little lime juice and chipolte pepper before baking them. A delicious and healthy alternative to regular chips. But I simply cut them into basic triangles. The idea of using cookie cutters to make shapes was so exciting! What a fun and healthy kid-friendly snack with endless possibilities.
I made the chips while Annabelle napped and when she got up we had them for a little snack…with hummus of course!

What a great idea, thanks for sharing
How clever is that??? Love it!
How fun are these!!!

Clever and yummy. I will also add it to my “making food fun” list for the fussy little eaters in my life. Amazing how a bit of cheerfulness can stimulate a poor appetite.
I just added green tortillas to my shopping list for this week. I’m definitely doing this for the kiddos! Thanks!
How did the kiddies like them?!
Evan thought they were great. I’ll send you a pic! We had a giant shamrock cookie cutter because it’s all we could find but they turned out great. We ate them with salsa! We’re making more tomorrow!
