This sweet and simple Halloween decoration craft was inspired by something I found on Pinterest, originally from eighteen25.
Isn’t that cute? They used wooden letters and glitter to make each framed letter. Head on over to their blog to see exactly how they did it. I loved the idea and decided to make something similar, using things I already had around the house.
When Mike and I got married, at our rehearsal dinner we decorated the tables with framed pictures of us and the people sitting at each table. It was a little bit of a project trying to find a picture of each guest, but well worth it. We got the frames at the Dollar Store to keep the cost down. Now I keep all the frames in a box in the basement and pull them out here and there for little crafting projects like this one.
So I already had all the supplies I needed. Three frames, tape, a sharpie, scissors, computer paper and orange card stock.
I made each letter in Word and then printed them out.
Then I carefully cut out each letter.
Next using a black sharpie, I drew a border around each letter.
After cutting the orange card stock to fit the frames, I taped down each letter and framed them.
Done! This is another one of those crafts (like Monday’s Halloween Word Art) that I can totally see redoing for other holidays. Wouldn’t words like “Thanks” and “Noel” be so cute framed like this?

Cute and simple–I love it!
Aren’t the simple, cute crafts the best??
These are so cute! I can’t believe how many Halloween themed projects you’ve done already!
Thanks! Yeah I’ve been on a little Halloween crafting mission!
Very cute!!!!
Thanks!
Really like this idea!
It’s a versatile little craft, right? And so easy!
These are too cute! Also, I can’t believe that you included a picture of every guest in the frames at their table! That’s insane! But a GREAT personal touch!!! I like it!
Thanks, Jenny! Yeah it was a bit insane. We only did the pictures for the rehearsal dinner where we had about forty or so guests. Doing it for the wedding would have been really CRAZY!!
I REALLY love this idea! You craft and decorative ideas are wonderful! Pinterest, here we go!
Thank you! I always loved crafting and now that I have a little one to craft with me, it’s just THE BEST!
Love this idea! Love Pinterest! Love Eighteen25! And love your blog as always!
