Wishes And Hopes For You, Sweet Daughter

I HOPE you never lose your giggle.

I HOPE you remain unabashedly YOU.

I HOPE you always look in the mirror and smile as brightly at your reflection as you do now, at the sweet age of two.

I WISH that heartbreak would elude you, but I know that it will not.  So I HOPE that you always remain true to who you are and that you never let anyone steal your light.

I HOPE you always dream big.

I HOPE the friends you keep later in life make you as happy as the friends you have right now.

I HOPE you never lose your Annabelle-ness.

I WISH that spinning around in a circle with your arms spread out wide would always be enough to wash away your tears, but I know that it will not.  So I HOPE that you have the strength to overcome any sadness that life puts in your path.

I HOPE that you always feel that you can come to me to talk about anything and everything, and that you know I will listen with an open heart.

I HOPE you continue to sing at the top of your little lungs, not caring who hears you.

I HOPE you always feel loved.

I HOPE that when you fall, you get up quickly, dust yourself off and keep on playing.

I HOPE you never let fear stop you from being amazing.

I HOPE you never lose the sweet spirit and spunk that you have right now.

I HOPE you have the courage to walk away from anyone who doesn’t cherish everything that makes you, YOU.

I HOPE you continue to find joy and wonder in the little things.

I HOPE that you always know, no matter how old you get, or how far you travel from home, that you are and always will be your mommy’s little girl.

I HOPE you never settle.

I WISH you a life full of big moments, endless smiles and just a little bit of pixie dust.

I HOPE you find your passion and that when you do, you go charging at it with all of your might.

I HOPE you will always remember that you, my sweet daughter, are enough.

And those are all the things I wish for you too – MY baby girl! That was beautiful.

  2. Man, I could write a list a mile long of hopes for my daughter. It would sound a whole lot like this one. Thanks so much for participating in HOPE 2012!

Great list. We moms could go on and on, couldn’t we? If only our kids knew how much we loved them. ;)
