Every since her first foray into finger painting, Annabelle has been a big fan. Since it’s an activity we do often around here, we have a lot of little “masterpieces” floating around. Instead of throwing them away (because, let’s be honest, I can’t keep them all), I decided to turn a bunch of them into thank you notes that I could send from Annabelle whenever people give her gifts.
After a fun afternoon of painting away…
…I let her pieces completely dry. Then, using a paper cutter, I cut each piece of art into strips, which I then folded in half.
Since the paint makes the paper all crunchy and curvy, I took the folded cards and let them hang out in a heavy book for a few hours.
Once flattened, I added a little “Thank You” to the front and a “Made with Love By Annabelle” note to the back.
Now she’s ready to thank away when the occasions arise…

I absolutely LOVE these! How creative and fun!
Thanks, Debbie!
